SESSION DESCRIPTION Pre-drywall inspections are not home inspections without drywall. ASHI's new pre-drywall inspection standards provide inspectors with a framework for performing the most important inspection that a home will ever have. Learn about these new standards from their principal author.
Summary Biography: Bruce A. Barker
Bruce Barker is the author of the books: Everybodys Building Code, The Black & Decker Complete Guide to Codes for Homeowners, and of The Word column in The ASHI Reporter. He also writes for other publications including Home Energy. He is an ASHI Certified Inspector who currently serves as chair of the Standards Committee.
Bruce has over 23 years experience as an inspector and as a custom home builder. He is an ICC certified Residential Combination Inspector, a licensed contractor in Arizona and Florida, a certified Thermographer, and a BPI certified Building Analyst Professional.
